Membership in the Association
shall Only be open to all person licensed by the Customs
Department as Customs House Brokers who:-
a) satisfy the Executive of the Association that they are
of good character;
b) agree to support the aims and objectives
of the Association and to be bound
by the Constitution, the standards of Professional Etiquette
and Conduct and the Rules
and Canons of the Association (Annexure I) as amended from
time to time and any other
document as the Executive deems necessary; and
c) agree to the terms of membership set out
in the Annexure II to this Constitution,
and to such other terms passed by the Executive of the Association.
The Executive of the Association to which an applicant has
applied shall be the sole and final
judge as to the character and eligibility of any applicant
for membership and no applicant shall
have the right to appeal or question the decision of the Executive
save as is hereinafter provided. |
